Welcome to the official website of the Terpsichorean Dance Studio & Company, located in Bend, Oregon, USA. As a Cultural Arts Partner through the Arts & Culture Alliance in Bend Oregon, we believe in the importance of the arts in our lives and teach dance as a creative outlet and expression of personal joy, not as a competitive sport. We do, however, offer recreational classes as well as advanced levels with high technical expectations.

Our award winning Performing Company, established in 2000, is proud to be the model for other dance companies in the area, who now strive for high technical performance by realizing the importance of quality ballet. Our teachers are highly in demand at other regional studios. In like manner, in 2010, we created our Funkology Crew, a high energy Hip Hop Crew, and we have been inspired to implement a Jr. Performing Company in the 2011-12 season. Younger dancers will be offered the opportunity to develop strong technique and performance skills early.
As Director since 1975, Carolyn Brant provides a safe, respectful, inspiring, fun and motivating experience for dancers of all ages, shapes and abilities, guiding them on their path in dance and in life, and giving them the best opportunity possible to find their place in the world.
Our current dance class offerings include ballet, point, lyrical / contemporary, tap, jazz, hip hop / funkology, modern and creative movement classes for children and adults.
Our studio features a dancewear boutique, and two studio spaces totaling over 2000 sq. ft. with a resilient marley-type floor. Terpsichorean studios are available for rent and you can take classes from the indepedent groups that are currently renting from us. See the Studio Rental page for more info.
